Mark Kimber is an Australian photo-based artist. He has maintained a dedicated artistic profile while at the same time, continuing his role as a full-time staff member of the SA School of Art, University of South Australia. Currently he is Studio Head of Photography and New Media.

 

Mark’s exhibition profile within Australia continues to be prolific with regular solo and group exhibitions. In the past 20 years, he has held over 52 solo exhibitions and 75 group exhibitions in Australia and overseas.

Mark Kimber’s work is held in many major collections including the National Gallery of Australia; Art Gallery of South Australia; Art Gallery of Western Australia; Artbank; Gold Coast City Art Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.
