UniSA’s Studio Head of Photography and New Media, Mark Kimber, will soon be reading about his photography career in print after he was announced as the subject of the prestigious 2012 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Monograph, published by Wakefield Press in association with Arts SA. Mark Kimber, whose career in photography has spanned 26 years to date, has works in collections across the country and overseas, including work in the National Gallery of Australia and the Canberra Parliament House Collection. Mark said he was honoured to be chosen as the 2012 monograph recipient, which is highly competitive.
Mark conducted a seminar and workshop based on his Sun Picture #2 image at the National Gallery of Art, Canberra as part of the National Summer Art Scholarship 2012 from the 19th to the 21st of January.
